Your missions

Under the responsibility of the workshop manager and the 2×8 team managers, your main task will be to make the necessary adjustments to start production in accordance with the company’s quality, safety, environmental, internal regulations, and procedures.

In this role, your main tasks will be:

  • Assemble and disassemble molds.
  • Ensure proper operation in terms of productivity and quality.
  • Make adjustments and/or tweak settings based on any deviations observed.
  • Start up production or restart processes.
  • Perform visual and metrological quality checks at the start of each work order and at shift changeovers, as required by the specifications.
  • Respond to machine alarms and requests for intervention from operators or the quality department
  • Maintain the general condition of all equipment
  • Collect instructions from the previous team and ensure that instructions are properly passed on to the next adjuster
  • Fill out the documents provided at each start-up, during and at the end of production
  • Management of internal requalifications

Desired profile

  • Education: Vocational diploma in plastics technology or equivalent level acquired through professional experience
  • Technical skills: Knowledge of first-level maintenance of machines/molds and experience with Arburg, Engel, and Haitian presses and Wittmann robots desired
  • Key qualities: Analytical skills, rigor, enjoyment of manual labor, responsiveness, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team
